NO DOUBT

A.O. and Co. could give the Player of the Year fits.

A.O. and Co. could give the Player of the Year fits.

The Big East is by far the best conference in the land. A record 5 teams in the Sweet 16 (could have been 6 if not for a baseline blunder). My personal bracket had Louisville and Pitt in the Finals but now I see UCONN and Villanova as my front runners. I think Syracuse could be a real sleeper if they can keep the pressure on defense and continue to shoot well. Blake Griffin is a beast but I think the combo of Jackson, Onuaku, and Ongenaet could give him fits. Not to mention the 2-3 collapsing down on him. UCONN and Nova just seem to be firing on all cylinders right now. I don’t think anyone in the West matchup well vs. the Huskies. Not sure if Duke has enough horses for Villanova. Should be an interesting game but I think Nova wins by at least 6. Pittsburgh doesn’t quite look like the team that dominated all year so I’m not ready to write them in. Louisville should have the easiest road but hasn’t impressed me thus far. I think Gonzaga will give UNC a tough matchup but I think the Tarheels will triumph in that contest. Either way..call me crazy but I love seeing a Cinderellaless Sweet 16 (Arizona is not a Cinderella) and it should be a great weekend of big power matchups in the tourney. My all Big East Final Four is still intact.

  1. Clearly your wrote this while you were drunk. UConn is a joke without Dyson. Louisville should have gotten beat by Siena. Pitt is not playing like they should and Cuse had the easiest road to the 16.
Duke will play like they should and no one on Nova has an answer for Henderson.

Yeah drunk.. the numbers don’t speak for themselves at all. You’re an idiot.

Every #1 seed had an easier road to the Sweet 16.. so did the #2s. Syracuse played a RANKED opponent in Arizona St. What’s Texas ranked? nothing.

UCONN is a joke? Yet they won the first round by 56 and the second by 26. What are you watching?
Louisville beat Siena by 7. Duke beat Texas by 5.. so I guess Duke should have gotten beat.
Pitt isn’t playing like I hoped but I said that already.

By the way… look at a map too pal. Find Syracuse,NY… now find Miami,FL.
Then find Raleigh,NC and find Greensboro,NC.

I just dissected your whole ridiculous comment.
Face it.. the Big East is better pal.. and you don’t know shit about hoops.

  3. This is where you get crazy, just because a team loses a game that makes them a bad team? Teams have bad games and teams have good games. Look at FSU in the ACC Tourney. You think that was luck? You think they are a bad team because they lost a game?

Didn’t G-Town who got bounced in the NIT’s go to UConn and win? They also beat Nova and Cuse. So you have to look at the whole body of work.

Cuse had one of the easiest roads…look at the matchups they had. You can’t deny it.

    FOOL.

I didn’t say Texas was “bad” I said they AREN’T RANKED.

Arizona St. is ranked 19th. Texas isn’t in the Top 25.. therefore.

numbers don’t lie. Duke had it EASIER. It was a well seeded tournament.. that’s why all 1 2 and 3s are still in it.

  5. Son of Bill Brasky Says:

No answer for Henderson?? yeah.. he had all of 7 points Vic.

    23 point beatdown.
    Nova is THAT good.

It’s fitting that the East region comes down to two Big East teams.

    ACC…and then there was 1.

  6. Nova played solid D but Duke missed too many wide open shots. The loss has more to do with the inability of Duke to hit shots then how good Nova is.
Henderson the best player on Duke had a bad game. His shots did not fall and the D on him was real good and he could not drive.
